On Wednesday, James celebrated the Japanese premiere of the film in a blush Elie Saab Couture gown. It may not be Cinderella’s signature pale blue color, but it’s still the kind of dress a Disney princess would dream about wearing. It’s covered in shimmery ruffles and sits off the shoulder, and James looks glamorous and confident.
Corbin-Murray said that while James’s style is naturally a bit more tomboyish, she has fully embraced the glamour of being Cinderella on the red carpet in order to honor the film, though they deviated from that plan at theLondon premiere, where she wore a stunning column dress from Balenciaga. However, James brought the tour full circle in Tokyo with this elaborate and traditionally feminine Elie Saab, who she also wore to the L.A. premiere of the film.
James may have started this tour as a relative unknown, but she has emerged as a bonafide star.
